War Amps Parade Float

War Amps Parade Float

Fabrication Highlights:

• Design-build • Multiple 3D scenic elements
• Self-propelled • Transportable

The great folks at the War Amps of Canada have worked with our sister shop, F&D Scene Changes Ltd. of Calgary for a long time, building their iconic parade floats. Over the last few years, the War Amps team have extended that relationship, working with Great Lakes Scenic Studios for their Ontario projects.

The latest iteration of their trademark parade float had to be both fresh and familiar. It was a design-build so we were able to leverage our previous build history with them to help maximize the impact of the available budget. The scenic elements were sculpted and constructed for outdoor use. The float itself was self-propelled to further the visual impact along the parade routes. One notable design feature is that it was build to fit inside a standard truck trailer so it could be transported across distances easily.

Holt Renfrew Square One Nail Bar

HR Nail Polish Bottle

We had the pleasure of parterning again with our long time client Holt Renfrew to produce massive oversized nail polish bottles for the grand opening of their newest store in Square One. Each piece was hand carved from styrofoam and finished in Holt Renfrew's glossy trademark magenta. Thia unit was over 7' tall by 4' wide and was showcased in their main atrium. When a client calls with a seemingly impossible request, we find a way to make it happen!
