The Chicago Sun Times Reports "The production itself is immensely beautiful — from Kevin Depinet’s dark, wood-beamed set with its heavy chandeliers and steep staircases artfully lit by Jesse Klug...”
Set in 15th century France, this timeless romantic tale of unrequited love took was recently staged at long-time client Chicago Shakespeare Theatre. This production of Cyrano de Bergerac featured scenic elements built by Great Lakes Scenic Studios. One of the highlights of the project was the grand staircase that swept across the stage. Towering 30 feet into the air, it was primarily a collaboration by our capenters and scenic paint team that was befitting to the majesty of the play.
